Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Launched, A Rugged Smartphone

Samsung has just launched its latest rugged phone the Galaxy XCover7. It has launched along with Galaxy Tablet Active 5. The smartphone has been launched just before the Galaxy S24 Series launch event which will take place on 17th January.

The device comes with 6.6″ TFT LCD FHD+ Display. It has weight around 240 grams. It is powered by an Octa Core chipset although Samsung has not reveal exact chipset it is using. The device boots on Android 14 along with OneUI 6.0 out of the box. The device comes with a single main camera of 50MP with dual LED flash. The selfie camera consists of 5MP. It comes in single memory configuration of 6GB Ram and 128GB Storage. The device can shoot videos upto 1080@30fps. It comes with 4050mAh battery and 15 watt fast charging support.

The display has high touch sensitivity and can been easily used while wearing gloves up to 2mm in thickness. It comes with IP68 dust and water resistance. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It has military grade ruggedness and is MIL-STD-810H compliant. It also comes with a customizable button for quick action in rough conditions. The device can also be used directly without consuming battery power while it is connected with a USB C charging port which is a good addition as it helps preserve battery charge.

The price has not been revealed yet however it will be available for sale later this month.
